Effective Monday, December 5th, USW Local 13-1 will begin the Strike Preparation Food Drive at the Texas City, Union Hall. We will be accepting donations of non-perishable snacks, drinks, water, coffee, etc. to stock the kitchen for picketers on shift in the event of a work stoppage. In the event there is no work stoppage, all items collected will be donated to the Galveston County Food Bank http://galvestoncountyfoodbank.org/ on behalf of the workers at USW Local 13-1.

The following information has been sent out to the membership twice, and are still missing contact information for several of our members. During negotiations, the Communication Action Team will be communicating with the membership using various methods. All information provided will only be used for union specific rapid response communications.
