3/20/19 - Negotiations continue. Slight movement made at the table on both sides. The committee continues to fight for a fair contract. 

(3/20)  On Tuesday March 19th proposals will be exchanged. Bargaining will begin on Wednesday March 20th.

Local Proposal Vote:

2-28-19: Bay Plant 2019 National Oil Bargaining Policy & Local Bargaining Ratification Vote

Today an overwhelming majority the union members of Marathon Bay Plant adopted their local proposals and strike vote. These proposals will be put forth on the bargaining table when the workers committee and the company bargain the new local agreement for our facility. In the near future the workers committee and the company will exchange proposals. Once this takes place a date will be decided upon to begin local bargaining.

Medical Insurance

- Every member MUST complete EITHER the Emergency Medical Enrollment Form or Waiver of Coverage This is mandatory for every member- the enrollment is to process you and your dependents in the USW provided Emergency Insurance Plan.  The Waiver is to be completed if you will be on someone elses insurance plan or planning to pay your current premiums to maintain Cobra.  Please print and complete the attached forms and drop them off at the Texas City Union Hall.

If you are unable to print attached forms you may contact Andrew Chalin for a copy.

- Reminder- the USW Emergency Insurance Plan does not include any type of prescription drug coverage.  For this type of coverage members need to consider moving under another insurance plan or maintaining Cobra.
