SHELL FCU INFO-If you have existing loans, Shell will work with you on your loans (ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS). Just prior to your payment due, you will need to take a letter from the hall stating that we are still on strike & they will defer your payment for that Month. It is my understanding that they will do this 3 times for the year. It has been reported that they will ask you to pay every other Month though. All of this info has been given to us by members who have gone by, as well as, us making a phone call & being told the same. (MY SUGGESTION---CALL THE CREDIT UNION)....
Verified by the CAT Team, Fidelity is deferring your loan payments for 12 Months OR Until you go back to work. Reamortization of payments will take place once you return to work. As of Jan 1, you can only have 2 loans out through Fidelity & once you pay one of the loans off, there is a 21 day waiting period to apply for another loan. (MY SUGGESTION---CALL FIDELITY for any other questions)
And as for the text sent out today, Associated Credit Union ACU of Texas is offering $2500.00 Emergency Loans during the strike. This is NOT open to the public. They will also defer your Loans Members have with them for 90 days. ACU also offers FREE FINANCIAL COUNSELING. Call Jennifer Hill at (281)476-3586 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
